Another dream is a designated buss lane running north and south on Michigan Ave from the river to Cermak.

So that tells me there should be 20 feet between the curbs (not side walk but the ones separating the DBL.

Believe the light timing would help increase safety. Including sensors in the bike and sidewalks to modulate the lights. This tech is available and in use across the country.

We need public education followed by Policing of these lanes.
The Canal & 18th intersection is way more dangerous, always seeing crashes there.

18th St needs a full redesign from Halstead to Indiana

Engineer, use that intersection daily (by car/foot) and want safe BL in Chicago

We should demand a safer intersection for all users

New curbs narrow are too wide, see tire marks where cars rubbed along the curb
Light timing not updated to work with the new intersection
