A digital drawing with a few colored studies on one page. Here's a study of Tom Mckay, and some other things - a sword from kcd2, a drawing of beladonna inspired by the drawings in kcd2 books (i tried to mix a real look and a medieval drawing). Also some stars and birds. The traditional texture i used partually on the background is also my own art (done in acrylic, colors altered digitally).

A six armed figure is chained to a cross fashioned from driftwood that seems somewhat like an unlit pyre. The figure is that of a woman who appears to be suffering some sort of skin condition. She is covered loosely in rags. The four extra arms all bear an item; one carries a foreign rifle -- an instrument of war; one carries a knife -- an instrument of treachery; one carries a candle and a rosary -- instruments of faith; the final carries a battered flag -- a symbol of civilization.

I'm not sure I've ever seen anything with a larger disconnect between the executive class and the general public than AI - there have been cases where executives want to push something they know is unpopular, but on AI it's like the backlash hasn't penetrated their bubble at all

Ghost hunts, all nighters outdoors in below freezing weather, irl streams with the boys. I did so much crazy shit this week, but somehow it was "getting off a couch" that obliterated my ankle and left me on crutches.

On the bright side, this does give me an excuse to sit around and draw.

An intimidating character taking a knee to reload her crossbow. She is wearing armor made up of cuir bouilli, maille and furs, topped with a long-beaked leather mask. She is wearing maille chausses over black fabric leg wraps, with maille thigh protection tucked into those. Those two elements are held on with leather straps and open in the back, which has the benefit of giving us a juicy thigh window. Some black fabric from an upper body garment is flowing both between her legs and around her back, the later being covered in part by large studded cuir bouilli flaps. Her arms and torso are covered in a long-sleeved maille shirt, with a cuir bouilli breastplate lined with fur covering her chest. She is wearing a belt at the waist carrying a fur covered bolt quiver and an early medieval sword in a scabbard. Her shoulders are entirely covered in a large but short black fur cloak tied in the front with leather laces. Her head is also completely obscured by the mask I mentioned before and also by a maille coiffe. She is holding a latchet crossbow with bronze fittings in one hand, and a bronze-tipped bolt in the other.

When I was younger I thought it was weird that people decorated for xmas in November. Now that I am old, I too much prefer to decorate before it gets "ah shit oh no fuck off" cold.
