Gov. Walz responds to protests over return to office policy Last week, Governor Tim Walz announced the policy change that will require most Minnesota state agency employees to work in-person for at least 50% of scheduled work days starting on June 1.

I was a bit surprised by the backlash from workers. Walz probably could have rolled it out a bit better, but government employees need to be in the office. I'm sure some people were productive at home, but the kind of collaboration that needs to happen in public government doesn't happen virtually.

Saturday our baby girl Zoey passed away suddenly. One minute she was fine-the next she was fighting for her life with no apparent cause. She was the youngest in the family, only a year and a half. She'll keep our other harlequin baby, Mazie, company at the rainbow bridge for now. I'm devastated
