saw another "watching the news through my phone is so scary </3" comic. and those are a dime a dozen. but this one was posted by a publisher which rejected my comic submission about my experiences: Moving to a new country and living around people who fled war in real life

the 60s stuff is fun too but you have to be in the right mood for it. I don't care for the stuff after hal goes evil and dies in the 90s because I kind of liked that end for him
I like the stuff from the 70s right after the denny o'neil run where it's still green lantern/green arrow but they're going to space instead. I think with ollie as this liberal hippie it kind of checks hal and makes him a better character

I'm not sure what issue it was exactly or who the creators were and I'm not even sure if it was done by the artist or the letterer but it was absolutely excellent
One of the coolest things I've seen in a comic ever is when someone used sheet music notes as a sound effect and it was the communicator noise in a mighty morphin power rangers special
myself or my partner getting deported is literally my worst fear. I hope they're both ok :(
a trans woman i know is being deported back to the USA due to the Home Office messing up paperwork.
her wife is desperately trying to raise the funds to prevent this. they have 48 hours before she’s put on a plane and might never be able to return.
please, help if you can. they’re both terrified.
