Many Medicaid recipients do not know they receive it because Medicaid is called different things in different states. The public narrative of Medicaid focuses on a distant other, but 40% of US children and 60% of nursing home residents receive Medicaid. Just SOME of the names by state are below:
It is simply not enough for universities to say, βOur grants & research offices are looking into how research will be affected by the latest directive.β
University leaders must actively and very publicly make the case for the kind of work many of us do. The silence on this front is deafening.
For all @abctnow.bsky.social members - check out the changes coming for our annual conference. Looking forward to connecting with everyone in New Orleans!
Having read your description of the changes and rationale, I think this is great! Thanks for the flexible thinking and for moving ABCT another step forward!
Yesterday was bittersweet. We celebrated Dr MichaelA Williston (in the pink blazer) as he move to his next big adventure after 11+ years with us. As a mentor, it's wonderful to see people spread their wings and move on. As a human, it's hard to say goodbye for now to the ones we care about. π
Thank you to @infointhernd.bsky.social and Jane Bach for making my first podcast such a fun experience!
Inspired by @whysharksmatter.bsky.social wish to flood Bluesky with Science π§ͺ and overwhelm @altmetric.com, instead of sharing your own paper, Refer a Friend! Quote or reply to this post with a link to a friend's paper that you love, cite, and/or wish you had written, and explain why you like it.
If you're looking for a postdoc and interested in Implementation Science and Health Equity check out the PRISE-HL T32 program!

What if instead of AI replacing human therapists, it helped us to level up our skills? Check out my newest collaboration with my colleague, Dr Amber Calloway, and our amazing industry partner Lyssn.io to provide therapists with immediate feedback on how skillfully they demonstrate new CBT skills!
I'm recruiting a 23-month postdoc! If you're interesting in #ComputationalPsychiatry or #EatingDisorders research please apply and/or get in touch - very happy to have informal chats with potential applicants, and put you in touch with existing members of my lab. jobs.york.ac.uk/vacancy/rese...
Is anyone out there working in digital mental health and taking doctoral students for Fall 2025? I've had a few really promising junior folks with in AI / DMH reach out and ask if I'm taking Clin Psych PhD students. That's not an option, so I'd like to be able to point them in a great direction.
We're making inroads in scaling up EBP access, but we need pragmatic ways to measure fidelity to ensure it's delivered skillfully. Looking for a low tech approach? Our new paper shows that evaluating therapist CBT skills from in-session worksheets is quick and correlates with observer ratings!
I'm on it - thanks @drgalinaportnoy.bsky.social!!
@mishliu.bsky.social - I'm sending them all the scritches and belly rubs!!!
I officially declare to the world that Bowie is my favorite dog. π
That means a lot coming from you, Gio! Your talks at ABCT were incredible, as always. I'm sorry I only got to say hello in passing this year!!
Aw thanks my friend! I'm inspired by your incredible work for families in our community!!
Thanks so much, @tstudts.bsky.social!
I'm just a few hours into Bluesky and it's been great rediscovering old Friends I missed from that dark land we all left. Where are all my implementation science people? My tech / AI in mental health people? My community mental health people? And most importantly, the people with the best dog pix?
Amazing, Alayna! Thanks for the work you put into compiling this!
Iβve started to put together a starter pack of researchers, funders, practitioners and decision-makers working to promote the production and use of evidence. Please comment to be added and repost to share.
