We would be better as a society if we let the children/teens grow up at their own speed and stop forcing them to be fantasies to a sickness. Leave them alone. Teach them/protect them and let them explore their world. They can make it better for all of us. They can grow fear free.

There are quite a few references to using speed in descriptions of the SDS period/early Weatherman. Also, possibly related things like: some of them didn't believe revolutionaries should get more than an hour of sleep a night.
