1/2 King Karl IX saw Näcken seated on a pole in the waterways outside the Royal Castle in Stockholm. He opened his window and shot at him, but Näcken caught the bullet and threw it back at him. This was told to the Dutch diplomat Anthonis Goetreeis in July 1616.

I didn't know of this one until I just found it today! Here Näcken is playing a harp while the Sea God Ägir's nine daughters float around him.
