just finished up Demon Copperhead. Maybe it’s because I’m from a small southern town much like the one in the book , but I absolutely loved this book. 6 ⭐️ read for me 👏

Officially 4 books into the new year! And already countless hours of sleep sacrificed, completely worth it.

A young woman with shoulder-length brown hair and bangs is standing in a room with beige walls and a ceiling fan. She is wearing a gray long-sleeve shirt and holding a hardcover copy of the book “Circe” by Madeline Miller in her left hand. A light brown dachshund is standing on a white table and gazing up at her attentively.

This could be totally not what you’re looking for but “The Troop” by Nick Cutter was an excellent horror read!

Cover of the novel Circe by Madeline Miller, displaying an intricate gold and black design with an ancient Greek-inspired illustration of a woman’s face framed by laurel wreaths, set against a dark background.
