I will say; I do see folks in this space learning from MCDM. I think they're mostly new folks who can watch something like the Community video, and learn from it.
I got a ton of messages from folks saying the Community video changed how they did things, but they're all people just getting started.

This is a really, really great interview by Shawn and Teos, which includes Brian talking about why genAI is not part of DDB’s roadmap, and why paper-and-pen gameplay remains essential.

And when Zac says he's on the Discord and Reddit daily, he means all day (and night too!). This team has been super engaged these past few months. It's so amazing.
This was an excellent interview. It was interesting to see the level of professionalism and clarity of thought that Brian and Zac have. @nerdimmersion.com State of The Games interview was also very insightful. It seems that the team Dan Ayoub has assembled is going to lead D&D into a renaissance.

We dig the question! CoS is so popular that we suspect it works fine as-is. That said, we think something like Van Richten's or the Fate Horror Toolkit, or even understanding techniques used in cinema, can all create a better game.
