Are you worried about your CNN show after that clown at Paramount bought WB/HBO/CNN?
Are you worried about your CNN show after that clown at Paramount bought WB/HBO/CNN?
exactly. Dogs' love feels automatic and unearned. Cats feel like humans I think, where if they like you you're really doing something right. :)
My dad never thought of himself as a pet person and now has two cats hogging his bed at night <3
I don't know if I've just been lucky with cats. I've long heard that they don't like people, they're aloof etc
My dog definitely wants to be picked up and cuddled and the cats hate it, but all the animals follow us around, want to be in the room we're in, etc
Cats just want love on THEIR terms
it's all but a certainty. I've long heard 'multiple storefronts' was the goal

I'm also into wishful thinking....
Having just finished the latest season I'd say its as guilty as 99% of TV of pretending ugly people don't exist, but it's also expanding a lot of other norms in the meanwhile.
I know this isn't a Bridgerton callout post though. Your sentiments make sense. I wouldve namedropped a more boring show..
I jiust want people in whatever economic situation who want that experience to be able to, and not be exclusionary.
Yeah. It just seems common sense to me to treat it like the special experience it is by making some sort of effort.
I'm going out to something like a play, an orchestra, or a musical I am in what I've got, which is like loafers, khakis and either a polo or a button up shirt.
Business casual or the nicest outfit you own if you're poor, is what I would assume.
Black tie is silly :P
Wow.
I had to take an extended break from social media (and try to limit how much time I spend reading/watching the news) because I don't enjoy feeling misanthropic.
So yeah, I relate to this. You've been through some extra stuff I haven't, too, so....all I can offer is a bit of empathy. Good luck :)
and Moulin Rouge was definitely like, the first time I was wowed by a musical. But it was so soon before Chicago and that one made me go back to see it a second time, which is a rarity for me.
Mine are probably Mad Max: Fury Road, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Pan's Labyrinth, Fellowship of the Ring, and The Matrix, in no real order
But I'm right there w/ you on that Ghibli adoration. I still kick myself I never saw Spirited Away in theaters. I guess theybring it back...
I feel like the prime example of this is The Shining.
King HATES it. Jack is already half-nuts in the first scene, or whatever it is he says.
This fascist admin can go fuck themselves.
"Do I have something on my face?"
Aside from the handsomeness?
He thinks people with Parkinsons are faking or exaggerating for sympathy.
There are a lot of actually talented musicians that don’t hate racism that they could’ve got.
Like Megadeth unfortunately.
So instead they offer ear cancer along with the hate.
Racist old bastards can also have shitty attention spans.
The need to be outraged and annoyed anytime somebody does something you wouldn’t is one of the reasons social media is so exhausting.
Like, pick your battles. Haranguing random people helps nobody.
Looking forward to when every ICE agent is unmasked and 'famous'
They all need to be keelhauled.
Big Greg Davies
I really appreciate when somebody prioritizes being considerate to another person/group of people, over what's best for themselves in a moment.
Good on you.
If you want your tech to be promoted by current regime, it'll get bonus points for antisemitism
And nothing of value was lost
But at least there's no shortage of online and televised finger wagging as they shoot us in the face.
That definitely doesn't fill me with despair.
I feel sad for people that don't get to see cardinals in their backyards daily. Birds are great :)
I just wish these apps would have designated zones for certain kinds of discourse. Would be nice if I could keep my main feed for positivity and animals and then be like, okay it’s time for my 20 minutes wallowing in the muck for the week
