I saw some juncos yesterday, so if those lil birbs are still here then yeah, probably a few more weeks til turkey vultures.
The wild turkeys seem to fare alright over winter. Seems their numbers are on the rise? I don't remember seeing as many of them around even ten years ago?

It took 800 miles of driving over two days, but we finally found California condors in Vermilion Cliffs National Monument this afternoon. They were about five miles off, soaring high above the cliffs, so I don't have photographs beyond proof-of-sighting, but I'm still high on the sighting.
