Very serious studio work happening today
I can’t save the world. I can’t stop what people are doing to us.
But I can tell my silly little stories one song and narration at a time. I can create one safe space at a time for a while. I can try to reach out to those of us who need stories. It’s what I can do, so I will until I can’t.
I’m speaking specifically to artists not because some voices matter more or less, but because it can be easy to feel like a lack of recognition of your art means what we’re doing isn’t affecting anyone, and that’s simply not true.

It was important yesterday, it will be important tomorrow. Don’t erase yourself just because other people are trying to.
