Sunday cover!
New Yorkers: Please join me on Tuesday! Ariane Bankes is the daughter of one of the Paget sisters β twins who lived/worked/loved at the beating heart of literary-intellectual mid-20th-c Europe. A fascinating story. And I would love to see friendly faces (and get drinks after?). DM me if youβre in.
In 1970 I worked with Caterine Milinaire on a series of fashion spreads published in the New York Magazine. Looking back I always smile on how different my creation looks from "fashion," with surrealism figures living among them.
