Oh baby
Oh baby
It's such a powerful location, I felt uncomfortable talking there let alone tk do something to damage it... Some people are just the worst. Only takes one to ruin it for everyone too.
I wish I knew. The lack of respect is rather alarming really. Some say social media, but I think It's more than just that. Social Media doesn't make me want to destroy everything.
Thank you, I feel very fortunate to have been there.
The False Kiva in Canyonlands National Park. This is now closed off due to vandalism, which is such a shame. One of the most amazing places I have ever visited. #photography #canyonlands #falsekiva #utah #desert
Is it summer yet? Fishy looking creek.
Around 10 years ago this storm came through the salt lake valley during a sunset. Got on the roof and snapped some shots. Still one of the cooler storms I have seen. #photography #sunset #storms #thunderstorm
It was cold, but thankfully not windy, was actually pretty nice!
I like 3-5ft of tippet. I connect the tippet with a tippet ring to the tenkara line.
One word of advice, make sure your knots are solid. Weak or poorly tied knots will be exposed much easier with a tenkra rod when fighting a fish. No drag ๐
I just use all my flies that I would use with a traditional fly rod, nymohs, dries, streamers, hopper dropper ect ๐
I would recommend a line and tippet that equal the length of your rod. Landing fish is hard otherwise.
If you have fly line backing lying around, that works great as a tenkara line.
A little winter excursion up to a frozen Lake Blanche in the Wasatch Range, with Sundial Peak dominating the skyline. Been up here a lot, never gets old. #trailrunning #hiking #lakeblanche #sundialpeak #photography
Taking the day before my long run off. It's been a game changer for me. Allows for a much higher quality run, and I recover better from it.
Elephant Head lookout out on #antelopeisland great morning for a jog!
First post here. This is along the Sawmill Trail that I frequently run, from this past fall. #photography #trailrunning
