where i live we don't get earthquakes but we do get tornadoes so we get to play the fun game of "was that an ambulance etc or a tornado siren" and if it's a tornado then all of your neighbors get the lawn chairs out to watch

thank you for these illustrations! while photos are nice it's often extra nice to have illustrations too that show details that aren't easy to capture on camera, making it way easier to identify animal species. i greatly respect illustrators like you :)

i've never heard the term "slablet" before but love it.

my little wacom slablet has been with me for years. when i thought it was done with, i fixed it by removing some crumbs from the pen tip. the dude has seen everything but i won't let him die.

dude i see people in comments regularly claiming to be *traumatized* when they see someone ship a character with someone else. never underestimate humans.

It is meant to resemble an apple once finished, but you cannot see its apple tail from this perspective. There are seeds on its belly and its ears. my first thought was to check for ai, but i think it's just because the video is sped up? it seems coherent overall and follows natural cloud formation i see when spacing out and cloud-watching.

Still love how most dog owners i see are like "she's a certified purebred german shepherd, very expensive. she's not allowed on the couch." meanwhile most cat owners i see are literally like "his name is nibbles, he's orange, i found him in the dumpster, and i'd give my life for him."

i woke up a few years ago getting ready for school and apparently the neighbors blew up their house. turns out grandma wanted a cigarette.... while hooked up to oxygen. i think everyone survived? the smell was atrocious though.

I'm aware this is likely a bot account, but for everyone else, this IS a tornado! Dust clouds don't sound like anything. I'm in Iowa and tornadoes are common enough that you should be preparing for the worst during any storm. This tornado just picked up more fine debris than usual.

It helps SO much especially when i'm afraid the customer won't like what I interpreted from their description.

I've got a few acquaintances (good and bad) who have been given the "choice" to either resign, or get fired and have it on their record.

also important that if the choice is "do what i say, or lose your basic needs/belongings/reputation/life" it's not actually much of a choice.

it is also crazy how a series with diversity like this attracts so many nasties. there's representation for POC, women and multiple disabilities. everyone is freaking gay and half of the men are in drag. how does one enjoy this and then be a bully or bigot.
