I totally get that, largely the same for me.
Definitely recommend Stormlight Archive (high fantasy, part of Sanderson’s Cosmere universe) and Mother of Learning (time loop shenanigans), if you’re looking to grow your reading pile. :)

Definitely adding Dreadful to my wishlist!
How to Become a Dark Lord, I’m on my library’s waitlist. I love isekai/portal fantasy, but add in time loops, and that sounds like such an absolute romp!
A rec for you - Mother of Learning, a fast-paced time loop fantasy web novel, available as ebooks.
Thanks @homebrewandhacking.bsky.social! Thought the same of you :)
I’ve been enjoying Wind and Truth. Several friends and I have all been reading it, getting caught up in the Sanderlanche 😂. On a slightly different note, I’ve been absolutely loving Erin Morgenstern’s The Starless Sea.
You?
We really need UBI, to give back some of what’s been extracted from societies.

Werner Herzog directing a Maybelline ad: Perhaps she is born with it. What a frightful notion, to be imbued with the fetters of capitalist commodification from birth. It suggests God Himself is a part of our dreadful pattern instead of a refuge from it.
Thank you! ☺️
Do you have a link(s) to the types of brain exercises you used? I created my own set based on what I know of neuroplasticity and the brain body connection. But would love to dig into more resources.
I think everyone needs to hear this, as often as as needed:
Typo: *Fermi paradox
This series was one of the best I’ve ever read.
Book 1: First contact
Book 2: Feemi paradox and dark forest theory
Book 3: Kardashev scale
I’ve wanted to go back and reread the series many many times, but my to-be-read-pile/ book mountain just keeps growing. 😂
