the local guide I was with ID it as WB Snake Eagle.
Purple Sandpiper at Hartlepool Headland, Red Breasted Merganser Hartlepool Marina and a Smew at Studley Park Fountains Abby, Ripon.

Not a bad day out at Kartong Wetlands and river, Goliath Heron, Senegal Thick-Knee, Lizard Buzzard and a Marsh Mongoose.
Yellow-casqued wattled Hornbill made an appearance at the hotel today, it didn’t stay long as there were about 80 people all trying to get a photo of it from as close as possibl.
Short walk from the hotel to some wetlands, Caspian Tern, Yellow-billed Shrike, Blue-cheeked Bee-eater and Sacred Ibis.

3 Snow Buntings on the beach 200mtr south of Steetly pier at 10:20 but very mobile due to the numbers of dogs on the beach, last saw them flying South along the high tide line. Also nice pair of Stonechats @teesbirds.bsky.social
