The world's richest man - perhaps the richest man who has ever lived - gloating about shutting down aid for the world's poorest people. All while posing as the champion of the common man.
The great lie of populism in its most naked and morally putrid form.
"If we are all going to be destroyed by an atomic bomb, let that bomb when it comes find us doing sensible and human things — praying, working, teching, reading, listening to music, bathing the children, playing tennis, chatting our friends over a pint and a game of darts — not huddled together like frightened sheep and thinking about bombs. We just had beef or salmon at ours.
Defence secretary somewhat overstates his role!
The inheritance tax thing is hurting the Prime Minister as "Starmer" rhymes with "Farmer" and "Harmer." Given this, here are other things the PM should be wary about legislating on, in future: llamas. Robert Palmer. BBC One drama. Michelle Obama. Bananas In Pyjamas.
