Pretty much each one of those on its own is reason for me to be uninterested. I loved it when it started, I was mad when it ended, but when I rewatched it in order including the first episode? Nope. And then the movie.

38f and slush coming from the sky. Ground is saturated. If it all runs off, there won't be enough this summer.

It's one of these days. Couldn't look up my dog food order, went to speedtest, it gave me the happy green circle then aborted and gave me the sad yellow circle. But at least no trees fell where we are

I haven't finished reading this, my internet slowed way down, but very interesting to see fears that discussion of biological soil crusts could be seen as verboten

As I wrote, he could have announced this months ago or he could have waited. He chose to announce this now, purposefully politicizing it, using classic Seattle passive aggressive strategy. It is practically the definition of passive aggressive.

Because he could have announced this at any other time. It's entirely appropriate. He could have announced this two months ago or two months from now. He's engaging in time honoured Seattle passive-aggressive behavior.

Side channel pond, forest floor leaves, upright & fallen trees, moss, and ferns.

Current status, the pond is expanding. Did December's floods start a side channel? Is the creek changing course? Also, maybe a rain barrel would be good.
