Two images of the Drifter side by side, a nightmare and an awakening mirrored. In the nightmare, he is haunted by the dead as he waits to die in a grave dug by himself. He wakes to Eris attempting to comfort him after she finds him under his desk in the Derelict, having sleepwalked.

His eyes closed again. Even now at the end, he couldn’t even cry. He didn’t even get that small mercy of feeling human before he died.
