The only thing Albertans should be separating from is the incompetent UCP! They are destroying this province, wasting our hard-earned money. A confusing referendum, a police force we do not want and now a corporation to oversee the four health departments! Seriously??? CALL AN ELECTION SMITH! NOW!

First they came for the trans people. Then they came for the unionized workers. Next it was judges. Now it's immigrants. If you think that you or someone you love won't be next, you're sorely mistaken.
UCP voter, NDP voter, pro environment, pro business, rich or poor - these things don't matter.
What matters is that we have the moral strength to call out this vile divisive tactic by this premier.
Our schools are not struggling because there are too many English language learners. Our schools are struggling because the UCP funds education at the lowest rate in Canada. Yet if even one in ten Albertans buys into Smith's tactic of blaming each-other, my heart hurts at the prospect of a child being sent into school holding this kind of hate for their schoolmates.
Danielle Smith and her government are responsible for a litany of failures in healthcare, education, and the economy. The Premier is sowing hate and division to distract from the fact that her government is the real culprit. Albertans should not be fooled by this cowardly strategy.
There is only one vote I want. It's called an election. Then we can rid our province of the worst premier and the worst government in the historv of Alberta.

Albertans did not give Danielle Smith and the UCP a mandate on 9 new referendum questions.
Or on separatism, or pulling out of the CPP, or breaching charter rights, or coal mining in the Eastern slopes, or bringing in two-tier health care.
Cut the bullshit. Call the election.

I feel immense grief for younger Albertans. Iβve been here 5+ decadesβbuilt my career, bought a house, benefitted from decently funded healthcare and education. Feels like the best that Alberta can be is behind us now and itβs a crying shame.

Just my opinion
The difference between a UCP deficit and an NDP deficit is that with the NDP the money would've been spent on healthcare, education and making life better for Albertans
With the UCP the money went on their friends and donors leaving Albertan worse off in every way

There would be no point in leaving Alberta as separation will crash the entire Canadian economy. Which is exactly what the American government is going for. Everyone against separation needs to take this seriously, speak out and support those who already are! And not just Albertans either!

Alberta, you are much better off as part of Canada. America is a shitshow currently. 95% of us here still love you and respect your sovereignty. Many of us dream of being Canadian. Preserve your reputation and independence. We will keep fighting to right the capsized ship that is the current US.

Smith says caucus members can sign any petition they want to, including on separation
Alberta Premier Danielle Smith says members of her caucus can sign whatever petitions they want to, including one pushing for a referendum on the provinceβs independence from Canada.
Things Danielle Smith will police:
π Your access to vaccines
π Books in a school library
π» How your city counts votes
Things she wonβt police:
βοΈ Whether her MLAs side with separatists who want to tear Alberta out of Canada
UCP are a separatist government.

Over 40,000 Canadians went to Afghanistan to fight the terrorists who attacked the U.S. on Sept 11, 2001. Thousands were wounded. 159 now lay in their graves.

Just for reference. The latest polls in Alberta. As an Albertan myself,
I can tell you this is a minority that will not pass. We already had a petition to stay in Canada that reached almost 500k.

New poll suggests one in five Albertans would vote to separate | CBC News
Alberta separatists are organizing for an independence referendum and say theyβre gaining momentum. But they're far from garnering majority support, a Pollara survey suggests.
People are saying! FUCK him. 20%, that is what their poll shows. Trump is so hellbent on fucking over Canada b/c they won't submit they will look for any info to support expansionism, even picking the country apart. These Trumpian assholes. A cancer on democracy in America and the world.

The only ones who can save US at this point are Americans themselves. DT only won by 1.9% of votes cast & some didnβt vote at all. His 1st term was bad enough & voters shouldβve known better. But they didnβt. They hired him to be POTUS, once again, in spite of his many business & personal failures.
