The main reason is legal stuff. It was a Vivendi Universal (now Activision) owned game. EA had the license for the past 15ish years, but that finally ended. However, now The Simpsons is owned by Disney, Activision is owned by Microsoft, and the original team just recently reformed into a new studio.

I also just keep forgetting they remade RE3 and RE4. I *know* that Capcom makes remakes, but the specifics of *what* is remade gets filtered out of my brain.

Was just musing yesterday that despite knowing a ton about Resident Evil, I've really only beaten RE4 and Village (I adore both).

Like an hour later I remembered I beat the Leon campaign in RE2 remake. Am I the only one who finds it kind of forgettable?

Since Simpsons doesn't have title cards, I didn't know they actually had episode names until the DVD sets.

To this day, the only one I can confidently name is 22 Short Films About Springfield, so I'd probably say that or "Uh, what's the name of the one where Bart gets a fake ID?"

That's how the site works. Its about engagement and traffic, which is most easily driven by arguing and division. This has only been exacerbated by monetizing tweet engagement. They reward people who make you angry enough to reply.

I can't say I prefer PS3 era Sony over PS1 or PS2, but I think that generation was the last time "the industry" felt in balance with a lot of variety. Especially the DS and PSP.

Sidenote, I saw "update" and that thumbnail and thought for a second it was a new round of the dev commentary youtube LP.

If it makes you feel any better, aside from Thanos using the Infinity Gauntlet to snap, literally everything else is completely different than the comic, including his motivations.

Though the movie is still worse than the comic story.
