I lost a friend over my article about the murder of Renee Nicole Good.

He was angry I called out the underlying misogyny.

He was mad I didn’t give ICE the benefit of the doubt.

He made it personal.

He told me my “stupid clown hair” is why people don’t take me seriously

I’ve lost “friends” too for holding onto truth and speaking out against injustice. They were never my friends but in sticking to my convictions, I’ve found many more real friends than the fake ones I “lost” in the first place. It hurts me a little less thinking about it that way.

Call it what it is. Door to door concentration camp round ups. You know when the full record comes to light there *will* be horrifying degrees of intentional genocide of non-whites in ICE facilities due if nothing else to over crowding. It is happening.
