The most wonderful Tuesday that ever was:
— submission emails and nudges 💯
— edits on a ms that’s about to go on sub ✨
— edit review on a ms that’s under contract 🌾
— call with an editor to review contract terms 🙌
— and a vague thing that I’m thrilled to share soon 🎉

Querying authors please don't panic if you've made a small mistake in your letter. Agents do get upset if you're rude or abusive but we understand if you put the wrong name/number of pages. We expect simultaneous subs + know different agents ask for different things.
We also make mistake in emails.

Every query in my inbox is someone’s dream. That weight never gets lighter. Sometimes I wish I had 10 pairs of eyes and hands to give more “yes” than I can.

It was all Criminal Minds and spaghetti over here. 😂

You can be proud of your writing *and* want it to be better. You can be excited to query *and* terrified of rejection. Writing is full of emotional contradictions. You’re allowed to feel them all.
