Discord is one of the most unsafe platforms currently, and a lot of that is contributed to illegal rings, or unconsolidated DMing, going to a refuge server just to goon to like feet and having to stomach actually awful content and people will only fuel the actual problems of adult content online.
I think the worst part isn't that "all porn will be gone haha", it's that censoring any of it will create black markets, and the more common the fetish/kink, the more people will go to these unregulated spaces that could contain illegal content and bad actors.

The issue isn't just Windows' applications, I've avoided the default Media Player and Image Viewers like the plague for not supporting a lot of common containers, it just sucks needing to convert it to upload to websites, or any third party software that doesn't include the format's library.
On topic dw, yeah and it sucks, Webp and Webm are superior formats, I just don't understand why after over a decade it hasn't been (natively) adopted, most places do accept it if you change the extension to .jpg, like just not allowing the extension but still supporting the container.
I don't have any software that supports Webp (I think only one that supports Webm that isn't a media player), but the format would be insanely good if it was supported like PNG and JPG. I don't get why Google pushes it, and you can't even use it for YT Thumbnails, like that's your own platform lmao

I can't even find a post where anyone's calling it out either, they could be real, but I swear every account I check joined last year, say "sick vro!", and argue with people for criticism who's not even the original poster, it seriously looks like a bunch of bots trying to scam.
The biggest issue in Fad Freakshow's development is finding map designers, I cannot make a passable map for the life of me, but literally everyone who has comms are sketchy as hell, all recent accounts, say the same thing or argue under other builder profiles, etc.
