What this long and detailed NYT piece calmly calls an “extraordinary flexing of power by a private individual” is in fact a blatantly unconstitutional usurpation of Congress’s Article I powers and delegation of the President’s Article II duties.

Absolutely. Unfortunately, the way this happened will not be a win for gender critical feminists. It's going to create far too much backlash and I believe that our chances to change people's minds with our clear and cogent arguments have evaporated with these heavy-handed moves.
Transgender ideology is an attempt to make sense of gender nonconformity without feminism. Being "transgender" or "nonbinary" have simply become code words for gender nonconformity.
