Wow. You are an incredible psychedelic artist.
Wow. You are an incredible psychedelic artist.
I waited some time to decide what all I wanted to say about this powerful album. It is as good as Cracker Island; It is as deliciously pretentious as Plastic Beach; it is as well composed as Demon Days.
Standout tracks include 'The Moon Cave' and the Bowie-esque 'Empty Dream Machine'.
Listen alone
Listening to None Inch Nails' 2013 return 'Hesitation Marks' this morning on the turntable.
Great hooks and vibes that take you somewhere between 'The Fragile' and 'Pretty Hate Machine's in style.
The album is as danceable in a way he hasn't tried since PHM.
Really enjoyed this one. Hoping to see you talk about the MYST games some day.
Made a salmon corn chowder on this cold night!
Bro the audacity of 2 to not give you a ring for the final boss gauntlet too!
I wish I was better at Sonic Mania. I'm a sonic 2 kid and can beat it but halfway through mania I started hitting bosses that smashed me haha.
I'm not a huge anime guy but my buddy Nate and I are on the final arc in Black Lagoon, then talking about about maybe starting Helsing
The last of my Christmas Record Haul, my favorite industrial album from the past few years was Nathan James' Hollywood Mortician.
Happy to own a signed copy with neat splatter.
Found one of my Psychedelic Grails this week when 'Smiley Smile' (featuring the incredible Good Vibrations) entered my collection.
What is an album you look for when you walk in a new record store?
Excellent show. Always makes me laugh when I'm watching Last Airbender and I hear that cabbage merchant and go "There's Jackie!".
Grail acquired. Can't wait to listen to it.
Haha I was curious if you knew it was for me when you did it haha
Great choices! I'd go with Chrono Cross, Breath of the Wild, and Doom 2016, though there are so many great ones!
@mrvillain93.bsky.social You rat haha
Would love to know your top 3 game soundtracks!
Haha so when I made this post I didn't know my friend has been scheming! Brought me this today:
Haha just the OG. A good friend bought it for me on new years a couple years ago and unfortunately I haven't finished it yet
Just started this again for New Years!
Tied with Peter Criss is a pretty good place to be!
@thestripedbananas.bsky.social Was so happy to see you tie for 10th on my list this year. Keep up the great vibes Y'all, I'll be coming for that autographed vinyl very soon!
My top 20 albums released this past year. Some surprising finds for me this year, and I can't wait to spend January doing the same list for 2024 to see how much it changes.
What albums did I miss? What were your top albums?

Happy New Year Y'all!
Wanted to share something for the holiday and settled on this.
Billy Idol comes with an unexpected Classic style Christmas album full of cheer. If you're looking for something classic without going to the usual pool, this album can absolutely be put on in the background of any family gathering!
A fantastic rock n roll album that will unfortunately be missed by most fans by not being available on streaming.
From hard hitting romps like "Rock, Rockin', Rock & Roll" to spooky anthems like 'Creepy Crawlers', this album shines in its diversity and willingness to just rock.

Very interesting album! Thanks for sharing!
One more album release on my radar for this year and that is Peter Criss's album set to come out December 19th I believe.
Pretty excited about it; he is a very talented musician and the eldest member of the original KISS. Those early album keep an air of maturity to the. Thanks in part to his drums
Well stated. Watched that movie as a young teen and it was years before I realized it was him.
Haha glad to hear it! I love all 3 of them haha.
Glad to talk music anytime brother
