I've had Qobuz for a few years. I more recently got a Bluesound streamer. I'm in hd streaming heaven. With jazz it's 😙🤌.

Great point here. Something perhaps I didn't realize. And that maybe there just isn't much they can do. I was expecting something more cleaned up, but nope. Or as you say, even as cleaned up as they are.
With the Sonny Rollins cameo no less.
Okay, so I think the mid-section - All Star quintet with Norvo and the impeccable Teddy Wilson - is the best of the three sets. Kind of an Ed Hall subbing into a Benny Goodman small group sound. Still lots of clicks and pops on the recording.
So ends my on the fly review as I listen. Carry on.
So far, disappointing. Some scratchy recordings. (Did I stumble onto the wrong release on Qobuz?) And the celeste on the opening five tracks is a bit much for my taste. Oh well.
