To be more clear - use that formula to determine the y-intercept. The equation for what you see on the screen is y=x-(6/x-1)
The equation of your line(s) is y=x-(c/x-1). Plug in the coordinates you see on the graph and you can solve for c. I assume previous lessons talked about this formula, otherwise it would be impossible for someone to know where to even start.

What's your reading glasses prescription? I tried multifocal contacts a couple years ago and hated it. Didn't work as well for distance vision and made it worse for reading. Went to a new doctor, and he said my reading vision isn't bad enough yet to make the multifocals worth it.
Once you get deep into your sophomore year year in electrical engineering, i (or j) becomes super important moving forward.
