Absolutely! Industrial weaving was definitely a net good for humanity, although I'm still quite sympathetic to the Luddites, who were less upset with the advancement itself and more the income inequality between those industrial weavers and the factory owners.
You can default to mutuals or followers only, so probably that (I'd hope).
I'm sure you knew that already, just for reference for others! I'd definitely kill for a way to automate that last bit, just because the garment industry is pretty abusive and an actual factory setting would likely be safer for the workers.
It's worth noting that the last century of clothing manufacturing has been pretty stagnant. We've just outsourced all the labor intensive cutting and assembly to developing countries instead of in New York.
These guys love to find a nice warm spot in your house to winter in! I get them in my basement every so often, especially part of it with unfinished masonry walls, where they can find a nice crack to sleep in and occasionally eat a cricket or two.

It definitely makes more sense for the stores than the paint range, although it admittedly is going to help a lot of grannies who'd otherwise buy Apple Barrel stuff for their grandspawn. And in LGSes that don't only carry the one brand, I suppose.
I kind of get it. With them doing more high profile games and eventually (maybe) TV shows, having the brand just be Warhammer makes it a lot more visible to prospective players.

Might be able to bodge a solution to #3? A common solution for the same in 3d printing is to use a grow tent and an inline fan to contain any fumes and vent out of a window or dryer vent. If you're worried about particulate and eye damage from scatter that should work fine.
