The critical crossover.
From 10% to 30% in just a decade.
In 2025 wind & solar generated more electricity in the EU than fossil fuels.

It fails to do so and only gets 42.
Meanwhile effortlessly 100,000 people attended Trans Pride London last July and 10,000 were at TransMission in Wembley Arena this week.

So to summarise: You failed to take out the regime. You failed to destroy nuclear material. You failed to eradicate Iran's retaliatory capacity. You brought chaos to the Middle East. You killed god knows how many people. You destabilised your own economy. All for nothing, but the ego of madman.

Hereditary peers to be removed from Lords as bill passes
The bill abolishes the 92 seats reserved for peers who inherit their titles through their families.
The move to remove hereditary peers is welcome. The next step should be to remove the Lords Spiritual. There should be no reserved seats in Parliament for any one religion. Itβs time to remove bishops from the House of Lords.

This is so true. Itβs also beyond enraging that a bloc with *more power* than fossil fuels does exist and could be mobilised. The companies that have to deal with climate impacts and volatile fossil fuel prices far outnumber the fossil fuel majors, they have just never lobbied as effectively.

We are facing an energy crisis.
Britain is the worst exposed in
Europe with only 2 days gas
supply stored.
If only we had our own gas to
exploit.
Or our own oil.
Or our own coal....
Blame @Ed
Miliband (Allison Pearson on X)
If only we had clean, renewable energy and were not beholden to a dirty, expensive, dangerous commodity that pollutes our environment and is the source of most of our geopolitical woes.
