The wood shed isn't near the house so aside from all the cutting splitting and stacking, the carrying of logs into the house and emptying the ash every day often in bad weather was a pain. I like that I now have the choice if we use it and I can factor in the extra cleaning.

As someone who's parents were stuck in the Suez canal on a general cargo ship while missiles flew over their heads I endorse this view.
