Halfway through the first day and spots are filling up! ⏳

If you missed the announcement this morning, the Viktor Beta is officially open. πŸš€

Don't let requirement gaps reach your production. Claim your access before the first 50 seats are gone!

Bonus: Make Code Reviews fun again! 🎭

Customize Viktor’s personality to fit your team's vibe:
🀝 Bromance: Your supportive best buddy.
πŸ”₯ Roast: Brutal honesty (at your own risk!).
βš–οΈ Neutral: Straight to the point.

Join the first 50 testers: https://viktor.tools

10.03.2026 07:45 πŸ‘ 0 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 0 πŸ“Œ 0

How it works:
1️⃣ Complete your ticket in your issue tracker.
2️⃣ Submit your PR.
3️⃣ Viktor’s AI analyzes the code vs the requirements.
4️⃣ Get instant feedback before the human review.

Faster PRs, 100% requirement coverage. ⚑🧠

Stop merging incomplete features. πŸ›‘

We’ve all seen it: a PR looks perfect, gets "LGTM" and is merged... only to realize later a core requirement was missed.

Viktor reveals these gaps instantly. If it’s in the ticket but not in the code, you’ll know. 🎯

This morning, I launched the first public version of Zolt, a markup language that is the high-voltage successor to Markdown.

Feel free to test it, give your feedback, and contribute!

This is v0.1, so it’s still perfectible. I need your feedback to hunt down the bugs I missed!
I have 1000 green tests, but I’m sure you’ll find gaps in no time. Who’s up for the challenge? 🀣

02.03.2026 09:05 πŸ‘ 0 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 1 πŸ“Œ 0

The roadmap is already packed:
- Custom styles & themes
- Custom blocks
- PDF & Docx builds
- Markdown import (for a painless migration)

Zolt by the numbers:
βœ… Nearly 1000 unit & e2e tests (the foundation!).
πŸ“¦ Only 3 external dependencies (yaml, shiki, katex).
πŸ› οΈ Dozens of markups to handle all your needs.

02.03.2026 09:05 πŸ‘ 0 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 1 πŸ“Œ 0

The Markdown successor I’ve been envisioning is coming to life. Welcome to the brave! πŸ› οΈπŸ’»

Why Zolt? Markdown is great for quick notes, but you hit a wall as soon as you need real structure. Zolt is designed for speed, with advanced features, while remaining easy to master.

We’re here! πŸš€πŸ”₯

After weeks of development and a weekend spent on documentation, I’m thrilled to announce the first public release: Zolt v0.1

Moving from an idea to a concrete tool running on machines other than my own is still a massive rush, even after 20+ years in the game.

It’s fast, and it’s officially my new best friend for pre-commit hooks. 🀝

Please tell me I’m not the only one who didn't know this! 🀣

Discovery of the day (better late than never): tsc --noEmit. πŸ’‘

Sure, most of you probably know this one, but until now, I was just relying on my IDE to spot errors. But when you want to check your WHOLE project, running this in the terminal is just so much easier!

It’s like putting your code through a lie detector. It’s brutal.
Who else lives this 'Jekyll and Hyde' reality with their past code? πŸ˜…πŸ’»

The weirdest part of writing docs for a personal project is re-reading your own code. 🧐

One minute I’m looking at a function thinking: "Who is this genius?".
Ten minutes later, on another block: "What idiot wrote this?".

We're here!

The final move before release: writing the documentation for Zolt ⚑

It's the last step before the official launch. And since I'm writing the Zolt docs using Zolt, it's also the moment I realize the true power of what I've built (while fixing last few tiny miss).

This time, we're there. With the 5th bag, we can identify the type of vehicle... and I think most of you will have recognized exactly what it is.

I really want to share everything right now for #buildinpublic, but sometimes, silence is a powerful tool to build something truly solid.

Just a little more patience, it’s coming very soon. And believe me, it’s going to boost the way you share text. βš‘πŸ’»

I’m currently in full "Deep Work" mode. 🀫

A new project is taking all my time and energy. It’s that frustrating yet exciting phase where everything is almost ready, but every single detail counts before I can show it.
