My husband rescued over 100 #toads this morning...

Stuck in just a few inches of water, at the bottom of a deep-sided pit with a grate on top. He'd walked over the grate a few times before he noticed movement beneath it and realised what it was. Thank goodness he was able to reach them !

I was just thinking yesterday, as I was shaping some aluminum, of a sign someone put on the grinder at my old job that said "Do not grind aluminum!". A couple of days later, there was more aluminum stuck on the grinding wheel, and a second sign that said "[parts] are made of aluminum!"

3D Viewmaster projector that was a thrift shop find, and turned into a project. It was missing the condensor assemblies, which I managed to get my hands on, and the fan was stuck solid. Just doing the (hopefully) final assembly

Not all seeds have endosperm as their storage tissue. Some seeds store the energy needed for germination in the embryo’s cotyledons. You know peanuts: the 2 halves are the 2 cotyledons. The embryonic root & shoot are the little structures at the base. #cotyledon #Fabaceae #Botany 🌾πŸ§ͺ🌱

An Amazon listing entitled: β€œFlymind Safe Keychain Set for Girls with Personal Safety Alarm, Hand Sanitizer Holder, Whistle and Pom - Rating 4.5”

There is a circle of images surrounding an image of the keychain itself. Those images are captioned anticlockwise as follows:

β€œFor students
For gifts
For women alone
For elderly
For outdoor sports
For potential murder”

All the images are stock photos apart from β€œFor potential murder” which is an unsettling illustration of a wide-eyed face being gagged by a hand from behind.
