If the new Tomodachi Life also ends up being a big hit, we will see a wave of cozy games coming out unlike anything weβve seen before
Sony gonna have Kratos in an apron decorating his living room by 2027

Like I enjoy gen 1 mechanics in casual play so I get the appeal but like, the "type identity" is at the cost of there only being like 8 types with good stab moves
"Pokemon types had a more unique identity pre phys-special split"- guy who has never touched a bug type in gen 3 aside from heracross as they add a bulky water type that knows surf and ice beam to their team.
No idea, it might open up after you get to one of the non 1-3 islands I'm not sure.
Didn't open up for me until after I did the celio quest
Artificial code execution, papa jefe has some guides on it that are really good, doesn't require any mods or tampering with the rom. Just mail glitch -> create the special ACE glitch mon -> rename your boxes and swap ace glitch mon twice and boom, you're executing code and playing on creativd mode.
25 Hall of fame entries done, 175 more to go.
I think it's a carry-over from even like pre elon twitter where people there just love fighting and finding a socially acceptable target to make the main character of twitter and hate on.

The wisest pokemon philosopher once said "Whatever's going on with that younger who loves shorts cause they're comfy and easy to wear is the opposite of nihilism".
I think I would enjoy those types of games, I just haven't gotten into them enough. I loved Mysims agents (DS) as a kid and that game's sort of a lifesim and I enjoyed ACNH when it was new with friends. I basically played pokemon like a life sim as a kid.
Guess you could really say that room was (great cave) offensive.
Very rom hack-y level design when this happens. Awesome.
Oh for sure, this is only a broad look at these topics for me. There's definitely more specifics I can get into with how these are executed.
1. Strong narrative (doesn't necessary have to be an amazing A->B plot, the world and little things can do the talking)
2. Interactions, I want to feel like I'm inhabiting this world and not just here to fight and roll credits
3. Decision making, how do I make this narrative partially my own?
25 years old, 2 am on a wednesday night, finally dawned on me what my specific criteria for what I enjoy in a game. The clarity is fucking crazy.
Made some trainer cards for my leafgreen save file. The first is my maingame team, the second is my postgame team I've made with ACE code.
You should read it, it's my favorite romance manga. The anime's really good but they never adapted the whole thing.
Okay but like seriously I prefer shit like this instead of just putting rby down.
Who needs mods when you got the goat, arbitrary code execution?

Where does Arakawa Under the Bridge fall in here?
Yeah, the only reason I was holding onto hope of a part 3 was because I'm greedy and I want more. But Fujimoto has said that he loves the moment when a hero has to hang up their cape and this looks like that exact moment.
I was really feeling like a part 3 could happen but after this fucking chapter, I really don't know.
Chainsaw Man this week................
So, "SchrΓΆdinger no neko" isn't up your alley? How about a fully 3D JRPG about an amnesiac siren? This is "Shinkai densetsu Meremanoid". Already hacked the thing, got a half-width font, script dumped, the whole kit and caboodle.
Ping me if you know Japanese and want to translate it!
I find this interaction funny also
Just a normal day in Leafgreen.

I'm always gonna just emulate or pirate the majority of old games I play, but it really is nice when an old game like Firered/Leafgreen and Fire Emblem Path of Radiance get rereleased and a bunch of people start talking about em again.
