Folk music hive mind; please can I have examples of sixties/seventies revival acts attempting to release coke-bloat infused albums in the eighties (ideally with cover artwork featuring yacht rock styling).
I was thinking about them recently. Great albums. But from what I can gather they’ve been largely forgotten to the mists of time.
Yeah that’s one of my favourites. Think it came out a few years too late to get mentioned alongside that golden era of British folk rock albums by Fairport and Pentangle etc but it should be.
I think I'd be more inclined to pay £15 for a 7" over £40 for a magazine but yeah all a little too rich for my blood.
Happy to spend £7 for a can of fancy IPA at a club several times over though if my Friday night activity is anything to go by... at least you've got something to show for it!
