Even without this nonsense, IDW has been reporting losses for YEARS. They have already shut down their games branch once. I don't like to make predictions like this, but I honestly have a hard time seeing this game ever being delivered.
Just rolled credits on Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.
Yeah.
Going to need a moment or two.
in case you've never seen it, this is Roger Ebert on The Mummy
Post your favorite Lord of the Rings character. Wrong answers only.
Yes, I realize this is a previously released movie. I said what I said.
Kathleen Kennedy will return in Avengers: Endgame
Just played two games of The Hobbit: There and Back Again. Very enjoyable! It's not easy getting all these dwarves to Bag End! Still, I went from 44 to 60 points in the first scenario. I'm getting better!
I really love running it solo with 2 heroes (though 1 is still a great time and easier to learn). If it's still available, the Green Goblin is a great first expansion option. Rise of the Red Skull is also a great purchase because it gives you both new heroes and villains, all of them great.
up even dumber stuff from the time we watched movies a vacuum, like jumping out of an airplane in an inflatable raft in Temple of Doom. The internet has long been building a hive mind, but social media made it easier because it's all condensed down to a single, easy to regurgitate talking point.
I don't think this is something limited to social media, though it has finished the job that various message boards and YouTube started. I think about early 2000s movie discourse. Like everyone jumps right Indy getting in a refrigerator like it's an unforgivable movie sin, but nobody is bringing 1/2
Reading The Black Tongue Thief right now, second time. Also excellent.
THE Godzilla entrance of all time.
I don't make the rules.

I've only just started getting back into heavy games and this is on my list of ones I want to check out!
The major piece of damning evidence that they are not real is that they speak quite poorly of Magical Athlete. *Clearly* a machine would not understand the appeal of Magical Athlete.
I reverse engineered how to play D&D from Baldur's Gate using the [admittedly not great] Diablo 2 D&D boxed set. That's not to say that I ran any great games with those two pieces, but it was enough for me to enthusiastically buy the 3E PHB when it came out.
Williams Collection is a weird pick, but I can't understate the importance of that game. Long story short, I was in a dark place and needed my full attention on something else, so I picked this collection up. Opened up a whole new hobby that's just as much if not more fulfilling than video games.
Yes, I am one of those weirdos who prefers to old school side scrolling Castlevanias to the SOTN formula ones. Love Metroidvanias, but oddly enough, the Castlevanias aren't my favorite in that genre.
The one I really struggled with was RE1 vs RE4. RE1 had me HOOKED on survival horror for a good long while, but 4 was the game that after years of not being able to get into modern horror games, helped me realize I prefer FUN over SCARY.
I underestimated how hard it would be to pick just 9 games that shaped me. These aren't necessarily my top games of all time, though many of them are, but these are the games that ignited sparks, set me down bigger paths, and nailed down what I like in games.
Since I play TTRPGs and board games on a regular basis, I'm not much a fan when one tries to do what the other does better. That said, Vantage and Lands of Galzyr are really clicking for me right now. The sense of discovery for exploring these worlds is just wonderful.
A couple of long awaited games were delivered today!
I play Star Borg with some kids I work with and one of them is a Clone Wars fanatic. He's going to LOVE this!
Someone...anyone...well, almost anyone...please revive this.
I'd read a few MΓΆrk BΓΆrg hacks, but never the original...until yesterday. Goddamn. I can see why there's so much cool stuff to come out of this game.
Finally checked out World Wonders and I'm pretty fond of it.
I love how I keep seeing people say "Magical Athlete should be terrible because it uses R&M, but it isn't!" Doesn't that prove that R&M isn't really the problem?
