Yes, they beat City, but Bodø lost three games—to Galatasaray, to Monaco and to Juventus. Anything can happen in football, but I don’t see them getting past Sporting.

The Ben White tangent + Arseblog turns 24 Morning all. After a quiet week, things will start to build up again today as Mikel Arteta meets the press ahead of our game against Chelsea on Sunday. I don’t quite know what injury news we’re looking for updates on, perhaps Bukayo Saka who went off late in the North London derby, but apart from […] The post The Ben White tangent + Arseblog turns 24 appeared first on Arseblog ... an Arsenal blog.

How David Raya became the best goalkeeper in the Premier League Futsal with his brother, books on the law of attraction and a gritty loan spell at non-League Southport gave the Spaniard the skillset to thrive at Arsenal

Thibaut Courtois jokingly took himself out of the debate when asked, back in November, to name the world’s three best goalkeepers, instead choosing Jan Oblak, Alisson — and David Raya. Recent points-saving saves for Arsenal might justify that.

Arsenal are here to win, not entertain. And that’s just what they’re doing The nervousness of prior weeks was banished on a Carabao Cup semi-final night that ended in euphoria - and the sense this is just the start

Arsenal waited 97 minutes for a goal. And when it arrived, it was perfect.

On a moment of catharsis at the Emirates Stadium, and a big stride towards ending the wait for silverware.

😱 Manchester City drop points to managerless Chelsea.

🫡 Declan Rice's return to Arsenal also saw him return to the scoresheet.

Gabriel Martinelli.

Gabriel Martinelli.

On 71 minutes, Mikel Arteta looked to his bench and sent on Gabriel Martinelli, a player whose confidence and output have been damaged of late.

It took 36 seconds for Martinelli to seize his moment.

The Kroenkes have financially supported the Buffoon-in-Chief’s presidential campaigns. Indirectly, this is their doing. Why didn’t they announce this when I could have purchased a personalised Eze shirt last week-end? Other EU and UK companies have been announcing this for weeks.

I’m not impressed.

As well they should. The Kroenkes—both father and son—have financially supported the Buffoon-in-Chief’s presidential campaigns, and not the most recent one. Indirectly, this crap is their doing.

I’ve been receiving emails from a number of companies based in the UK and the EU. Personally, when I can, I will purchase items in the affected countries, use those items whilst overseas, and bring them back 365 days later. After a year they are considered “used” and free from tariffs and duties.

P.S. I’m sure you know that Kroenkes—both father and son—financially support the Buffoon-in-Chief, and have for too many years to count. Indirectly, this is their doing anyway.
