Twitch is requiring new Affiliates, before their first payment, to give government photo ID and a separate photo to Persona, the same Persona that has connections to government mass surveillance programs. If you donโt like that Twitch is utilizing Persona, the company Discord recently faced backlash for utilizing, upvote this UserVoice and comment. Persona stores your biometric data for 3 years in some cases, has ties to Palantir via Peter Thiel, and even stores the backgrounds of provided selfies.
