the Zutara fandom is *still* thriving. Harmony is doing alright, too. I could point to much smaller ships that have survived mini-canon nukes and are still kicking, even with fewer than 10 people active.

Tl;dr – ships don’t truly die just because mid, opportunistic, spiteful authors want them to➡️.

Always be as appreciative as possible toward the creators who do decide to stick around [smth I know I’ve also been struggling with lately, since I haven’t been in the headspace to do much of anything, but.]

Speaking of nobody and nothing in particular–imo what petty, vicious authors think/feel shouldn’t be the end all, be all. Their immaturity, ignorance and unprofessionalism shouldn’t drive you away from something you’ve emotionally invested in – something that’s brought you joy➡️.
