It’s surreal to be working on it again after a full decade, particularly when I’ve spent much of the last 3 years on the sidelines of “the industry”

Some council offices and the mayor are now trying to cover for their disastrous budget by claiming that they approved new LAFD contracts, which happened 6 months AFTER they approved the FY24-25 budget, leading to services and 58 LAFD positions cut
To those not in LA, these fires are hitting an already breaking community. Many people being forced to evacuate were already stretched extremely thin due to the collapse of our industry.
