It truly feels like we've come to this infliction point. We've got a 40 percent tree cover loss in my NE FL county since 2000, and it feels like the Amazon devastation is in my backyard. Pine trees are not even considered trees. They're officially weeds. Sadly, money speaks louder than common sense.
