Our Collaborative Agenda-Setting Intervention (CASI) is an EHR-integrated tool that elicits patients' preferences and concerns prior to a clinic visit. In this study, patients, caregivers, and clinicians found the CASI usable and acceptable and identified factors that may affect its implementation.
Our findings highlight the influence of social determinants of health on patients’ cancer care experiences, and underscore the importance of delivering person-centered care in the context of a public health crisis.

In our mixed methods study of people treated for cancer during the COVID-19 pandemic, participants faced common challenges, but distressed participants were more likely to have low resilience, exhibit symptoms of anxiety and depression, report difficulty paying their bills, and identify as Hispanic.
