While I totally agree, I have to say as a Dayton resident, I'm baffled at that statistic. I think it's very safe here and I'm just a typical skittish suburban white lady.

So it was the "No Kings" marches versus the "No Crowds" parade
This clip has me thinking about people finally taking Trump's ownership of the narrative, enforced by the massive GOP media advantage, seriously.
Fox et al want people to believe LA is burning, terrible, overrun.
LA has a lot of people who are pretty good at communicating, who can show otherwise!
Completely bizarre to hear tv talk about sending in the military and then you see the actual pics of the protests and people are buying hot dogs and line dancing while the Nat Guard looks on in silent envy.
This Saturday I'll be at a Vintage Market in Dayton! The NATO summit is going on and protestors are going to be flying the balloon of the Mango Menace wearing a diaper😂 Not *at* the market lol, but fairly close by. I hope I can see it!
