#MovieReview: #TheBride. I like the idea and it's visually appealing, but the story is only so-so. The Mary Shelley angle is just too much & unnecessary. The entire cast is good, however I especially enjoyed Annette Bening as the mad scientist. A bit disappointing, but not bad overall. #Horrorsky

Nice! The Spice Girls changed everything for me. I didn't listen to any female artists before them. And once I got into them, they opened up my narrow mind and got me listening to more female artists. I just sampled St. Vincent since two of you mentioned her and I dig this "Los Ageless" tune!

That's cool! I remember when it got into the '00s, I got bored of male-fronted bands and made a concerted effort to seek out more female artists. Ever since, I'm more apt to listen to new artists with female singers. I still love all of my male-fronted bands, but I'm not really looking for new ones.

That's true! They were very pro-positivity and believing in yourself and were especially good role models for girls overall. I always just got good, positive vibes from them. I know behind the scenes, things weren't always so nice, but they weren't for KISS either!

They were like a pop female version of KISS to me in the 90s with their individual identities and all of that merch. I loved it! 😊

A pretty good week of movies! The new Scream wasn’t perfect, but it was cool seeing The King perform on the big screen. As for the watch-at-home picks, both were excellent and worthy of their elite status in cinema.

I guess this will be called "Biden's economy" when Trump and his cronies are questioned about these numbers.

Something tells me that we're going to be in "Biden's economy" all of the way through to the election in 2028.

As messed up as that is, the newsmaker here is that he cannot even fathom what new jobs will come after AI takes people's jobs. Like, it has to take them first and then eventually there will just magically be new ones. 🪄

It's mostly just the large pieces from the river kit (which I think it available again this week because they now have new waterfalls to pair with it). I didn't record any of the making of it. I built it on the Dazzle Beach floating island. Here's a screencap of how it looks from above.
