I am so full of admiration for Charlotte Nicholsβ courage in talking about this - particularly awful that as a woman in public life she will have had to consider first how people might use this information against her, especially online. Hope she has all the support she needs.
Bless this reporter! Trump didnβt call him piggy, he just shat his pants.
While Trump launches us into a new forever war, heβs quietly preparing to take over our elections at home and rig the midterms in his favor.
He knows he canβt win on the merits, so heβs preparing to cheat. We wonβt let him get away with it.
The Iran war should be a lesson for Keir Starmer's Government. If you take a clear line on an issue where the public agree with you then it's your opponents who end up having to back down, not you
βWhile Nige has been brown-nosing Trump with his warmongering, heβs missed that most of the country doesnβt want to follow the orange narcissist into an illegal war with no fixed objectives other than continue till The Donald gets boredβ

George Gallohate says itβs 600 dead and a special forces team captured in Iran. I think I actually might believe him (for once).
According to MeidasTouch there are several reports that around 150 US troops have been injured in the war on Iran. Odd how Donald Trump and Kegbreath haven't mentioned this.
When you've realised you've made a bad call but are also physically incapable of accepting you can be wrong.
The thorny problem facing policymakers then: how can we strike the right balance - protecting children from harm online without taking away - all of - the benefits of social media?

The mental gymnastics are quite extraordinary.
I was surprised to hear this

She vocally supported the US/Iran strikes, criticising the government for not doing so, & did call for the UK to bomb Iran too. But is pointing out that she did not call for the UK to join the US + Israeli bombing of Iran in saying we should bomb Iran ourselves

"Government is fully committed to resetting our relationship with the European Union."
"The previous government, as he highlighted, did do as much as they could to damage that relationship, damage our productivity and damage our, working relationship with our nearest partners."

What happened to your usual Tuesday voting intention poll? Have you skipped this week?
No regular Tuesday YouGov poll today? What are they hiding π€

The Green Party, like any party, has differences of opinion on policy and I can tell you that the Greens of Waveney Valley and Stroud ran a very different campaign to those of Bristol, Brighton and Gorton & Denton. I know ex Tories who voted Green in 2024 who wonβt be voting Green under Polanski.
π«π· The upcoming French Municipal Elections will be a crucially important signpost ahead of the 2027 French Presidential Election.
The National Rally could break through in cities like Nice and Marseilles...
The Prime Minister has today launched the new Civil Society Council.
Consisting of leading voices from across the voluntary, community and social enterprise sectors, it will bring civil society into the heart of government decisionβmaking to ensure better policy delivery and closer partnerships.
Itβs true they are a mixed bunch. They took two Conservative seats at the last election by presenting themselves as something very different to their Gorton and Denton persona. They wonβt be able to do that at the next election, given their higher profile - people will notice.
Iβve heard that Farage might have a Super Injunction covering the house and his racist school days and that is why both have dropped from the news. Not sure if that is true. On Gill, this is the month we are due the Gov report on foreign interference in our politics? That will be interesting.
Things the MSM ignored and continue to ignore:
Nathan Gill
Farageβs house
May getting removed by Banon Farage, Rees Mogg and Johnson.
Why?
Thatβs an interesting set of facts. Given the way the Greens talk you would think they opposed everything the Gov did.
Which parties agree most with the legislation the Labour government is passing?
Answer: SDLP and Greens...with Tories and Reform at the other end of the scale.
I picked out all major votes on Bills (2nd / 3rd readings), orders, regulations and other key measures.

π― @bjennings90.bsky.social on the mark as always.
A month ago I couldnβt have imagined Keir Starmer riding high and Nigel Farage being laughed at for Chagos, Trump and support of an illegal war. It just goes to show that no one can speculate on an election over 3 years away.
There is no accountability for these grifting charlatans. Nothing. They torch the economy for everyone else, make everyoneβs life harder, fail abysmally, lie to us all and yet, on they go. Scamming away.
No shame. No comeuppance.
