Finally done. Had not prepped at all cause Mardi Gras.

Thursday nights are my work late nights. Anyone want to give me a pep talk?

The ceiling fan ALWAYS needs dusting. It can wait. Rest your tootsies!

But the system that produces this deserves critique. It REQUIRES critique. I think one of the reasons for it is to highlight things that are otherwise shadowed, we have an obligation to snark.

I think some of us (me) enjoy watching the pageantry from afar. But besides that I actually think it’s IMPORTANT to have the dialogue critiquing the systems that produced this. I genuinely have no antagonism to the Queens/debs/pages/escorts. I’m sure Rex is a nice guy.

In 2023 I got COVID during Mardi Gras and I spent a few days feeling TERRIBLE and so sad for missing the festivities. But I COULD participate in the #TweetingoftheCourts and I got dressed up in festive PJs and y’all made my tough moment a little better. Long live the #rexcomus community!
