It's good right?
One of my favourite places to cycle too
With Moderation down, this app is fully unopenable in public I guess

Morning. Still no sun
This better be true
Precisely, we got a direct so we don't have a stopover anywhere, then the plane can fly wherever it wants as far as I'm concerned π
I mean, exactly. Perspective, right. Would be far worse this be in that position. Tbh the thought of flying through there was not a comfortable one
We're lit one of the lucky ones, we have a plan. A load thought they'd wait it out for things to cool down, or Gulf Airlines to reroute and now screwed that they haven't. One's getting docked 2 weeks wages + 2 week extension to their hotel, for a rearranged Emirates flight that might not even fly
Fortunate to not be in the actual warzone, and thoughts with all those with literal things dropping on their heads, but some advice would've been nice yknow. Apparently just gonna have to suck up the multi Ks on the credit card innit. Debt is good for some I guess
Obvs we can see the UK news and everyone tucking into the Gulf Influencers evacuation story, but there's loads of non-Gulf people the other side with literally no information and no help coming. And they're probably the tax-paying ones funding the Gulf ex-pat flights anyways
The flight we found was about 2x the cost of original Qatar one (so that refund isn't doing much heavy lifting anyway), but a lot of the flights were 4x, 5x of originals, and at the end of people's planned holidays, who can afford that? We have friends fully stuck cos of this
When booking new flights, whole days were selling out in minutes. Managed to get a flight from Thailand to Heathrow, but not until Wed 11 Mar (booked Mon 2 Mar).
So that's a new flight Nepal - Thailand, and 7 nights in a hotel. None of which covered by insurance
Gulf crossing update:
Qatar obvs cancelled our flights. Have offered refunds, but made it REALLY difficult to work out how to claim. App, website, everything just going round in circles.
I'm in the forest with limited Internet, but I will say Thank You to the West Indies, bhaven't felt that good watching a run like that for many, many years. Weren't to be, but was it ever. I've enjoyed the ride π΄π #INDvWI #T20WorldCup
Kinda need to fly via the Gulf to get home. Ahh
Nepal, the cricket mad country that it is, treating us well. It's go time π΄ #T20WorldCup #WivSA
Today has been a good day π
Having caught up, Crazy Frog is genuinely folklore to some of us. I very much enjoyed #DRUKvTW3

Me and the Nepalese bar staff have been cooing. I'm so happy
We came all the way to Nepal, and Nepal had delivered restaurants with the match on. What a country π³π΅ . Look how happy he is with this π π΄ π #T20WorldCup #ZIMvWI
Hahaha, Sri Lanka are terrible (what a rubbish match) π

They shouldn't have even got through the first round. Nepal dropped the ball (literally)
