Mark Ruffalo has a message for you:
@markruffalo.bsky.social
Yes and yes
Also, what are you doing here with that shit?
Nonsense.
75 m people decided to put that man in the position to do so, and millions more decided we should have a congress that mostly supports him. Blame them
Yes. But we knew this.
HOLY SHIT.
A dark money group, hidden behind a bunch of shell companies, is paying influencers thousands of dollars PER POST to attack @katmabu.bsky.social on social media a month before her election.
Thank you to the people who declined the money and went forward with this. So who's behind this?
You people.
After we get rid of the trumps, this admin and their supporters.
No, they really don't deal with facts very often.
Or, maybe they couldn't.
But, also, we already knew about this back then.
Blah, blah blah. We elect thousands of representatives, and we are the ones choosing the rich, corrupt individuals.
We are a representative democracy, and if you don't think voting on those representatives isn't meaningful, then you wouldn't be complaining right now.
BECAUSE THEY HAVE DESHAUN WATSON!
For one, there *are* limitations of the federal government. And, two, democrats are the only ones who support Trans people and trans rights.
Asking them to stop "arming and protecting a genocide" was a reasonable request. But the only reasonable option was to support Harris in the election.
Why? Because trump would also arm and protect genocide while also doing so much harm everywhere else.
And again, that isn't what happened. People chose not to elect enough dems to prevent it.
Again, this is not accurate.
No. Always needed to pay for cable.
Doocy asked a reasonable question?
Every dem i hear opposes this.
This really isn't true.
Of course, this isn't what actually happened.
What actually happened was that Italy just played better.
Our representatives are a reflection of us. We would have different behaviors from politicians if we elected politicians.
The difference in the US is that we have to form our coalitions before the election rather than after.
In reality, the voting public anywhere is divided. And we can split into as many sub groups as we want. At the end of the day, different groups need to work together to achieve anything.
I spent 4 months trying to answer a simple question: has this book been translated into my language?
Turns out no one tracks this. Not ISBN registries. Not Amazon. Not Google. Not libraries.
So I built a tool that crosses four databases to piece it together.
zenodot.app
No one is telling us who to vote for. People run for office. Others support them. Some get more support than others.
You can vote for whomever you want. You can find and support other candidates. You can run for office yourself.
Actually, we have not been able to pick one because there are legitimate reasons on both sides. Both sides have pros/cons, and one doesn't seem to outweigh the other.
This is true of people everywhere. No one wants to pay taxes. In part, because some groups have demonized taxes. Yet, we still want stuff that we don't have to pay for.
But...indirectly they did. I get what you are saying, but by not doing everything to avoid trump winning - that is, vote for Harris, they indirectly assisted a Trump win.
Though, realistically, there probably aren't enough to swing things.
