I don’t look for it but I’m not closed to it. I think it depends on the proximity of our working relationship. As a nurse are we on the same unit or within the org? I will say that most of my adult friends were once my coworkers - 2 on my unit and 4 within the org.

As a highly empathic person, what is happening in this country is…I have no more words. I don’t have any words I haven’t spoken or haven’t already been said. Today, I only have tears. PTSD and tears.
I just voted HELL NO to giving ICE a single penny.
Congress should not be funding an agency that has terrorized our communities, kidnapped our neighbors, and killed people on the street with impunity.
We must abolish ICE and end qualified immunity for ICE agents NOW.

Founders’ Day was dope but the highlight for me was the service. I linked up with some of my Line Sisters to meet at the SA Food Bank at 6am to make sandwiches & feed the community. It was my first time volunteering at the kitchen. I usually sign up to pack boxes. Food banks NEED volunteers. Daily.

Yesterday, two of my coworkers brought me food to work. My Nigerian sis always looks out. I was surprised to get the other. I think they were competing for my primarily Nigerian preferred palate. My Cameroonian bro came to challenge it.
I appreciate them & loved them both. It’s the little things 🫶🏽
